The perfect larder

A well stocked yet succinct larder makes cooking healthy, fresh and nutritious food for your family indefinitely easier (and more enjoyable). The majority of my recipes use just a combination of the ingredients below so that my readers can read a recipe they like and (bar the fresh ingredients) dive straight into their kitchen cupboard to make it. That's convenience and that's what we need in our busy lives to deliver nutritious and tasty food to our families on a daily basis.

I also find that limiting your larder makes you shop more efficiently and cost effectively whilst also making you more creative and confident in the kitchen [trust me- it will]. As with all elements of parenting this inevitably feeds down to your children and within no time they know how to help with their favourite meals, talk and understand the ingredients and, most importantly, start to appreciate where food comes from and how to create nutritious food as a family.
