A total favourite with both my daughters and one that is still going 2 years later for my oldest. This is where the addiction began! Its also fantastic with a portion of red pepper mixed through.
BLW Tip: slice some extra sweet potato (and/or red pepper) into batons and steam until soft. Place on the highchair tray whilst your little one is eating and see how they touch, play and potentially pick up the batons. Its a great way to get them used to using their gums to mush down food before they gets any nashers.

Makes 5 x 30g portions
150g sweet potato, peeled and cut into 1-cm cubes
1-2 tbsp cooking liquid

Steam (or boil) the diced sweet potato for 15 minutes or until easily pierced. Remove to a food processor and blend down into a smooth puree adding the cooking liquid as you go.
